World Cup 2026 will be the first hosted by three nations and the first played across 16 stadiums. From MetLife Stadium to the iconic Estadio Azteca, here is your guide to the host venues.
United States
The USA hosts the majority of matches, including the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Other key venues include SoFi Stadium (Los Angeles), AT&T Stadium (Dallas), Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), NRG Stadium (Houston) and Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia).
Mexico
Mexico becomes the first nation to host World Cup matches across three tournaments. The legendary Estadio Azteca in Mexico City โ host of two previous finals โ anchors the Mexican venues, alongside stadiums in Guadalajara and Monterrey.
Canada
Canada hosts matches for the first time, with BC Place in Vancouver and BMO Field in Toronto staging games.
The climate factor
With venues ranging from humid southern heat to high-altitude Mexico City, conditions will vary enormously. Teams that adapt fastest to travel and climate hold a real advantage.
